Trends in innovation is something that I love. View observe and study how changes occur, understand what is due and even at that time is the most appropriate to adopt them and join them to form part of the new reality.

DuckDuckGo is a search engine that is creating sensation in recent times. And if we look at its evolution, is spectacular as having started from scratch, and against all odds, by going to compete in a field dominated by a clear impossible protagonist, gets against all odds to break through and carve a niche.

If we see the graph of October 2011, which appeared on TechCrunch, the milestone was to have reached to 300,000 search queries.

In January 2012 in SerchEngineLand commented that reached to over 500,000 search queries.

As we saw in the past TNW June 14 this year, thanks to the controversy of PRISM, exceeded 2.35 million daily searches.

But now, just a few days later, going from 3.5 million, as we see in their public statistics of search queries.

Do not know what to say.. or suddenly users started to become aware of the privacy, or are fed up with a single search engine, and whims by pressure exerted monopoly, or perhaps other things and all together. But something is happening. And you better realize.

Have you tried it? Did it ever become your default search engine like to me? What do you think is the most moving users to switch to DuckDuckGo?
